Wy’East x IRCO Upward Bound Rail Jam
The Rail Jam is open to youth and adult riders who want to ride for a cause—all proceeds will benefit IRCO’s youth program Upward Bound:
“Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.”
Here’s how you can get involved:
RIDE IN THE RAIL JAM
Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome! To compete, riders must raise a minimum of $150, which will go directly to Upward Bound. It’s a great way to shred for a purpose. All riders will receive two complimentary raffle tickets and compete for top industry prizes. If you are interested in competing, click the "sign up" button above to begin your campaign.
SPONSOR THE EVENT / DONATE PRIZES
We are seeking raffle items, prize donations, and local business sponsors to help make this event a success. All donors will be recognized at the event and on our promotional materials. If you are interested in donating an item or gift card, please contact studentgovernment@wyeastacademy.com.
FOOD TRUCK PARTNERS WANTED
We’re also looking for a local food truck to be on-site during the event. In exchange for the exposure and sales opportunity, we kindly ask for a percentage of the night’s earnings to go toward the fundraiser.
COME OUT AND SUPPORT
Even if you're not riding, you’re invited to attend and enjoy the show! IRCO staff and families are warmly invited to join us—come watch the action, enter the raffle, and even jump on our trampolines!
The event will be organized and hosted by the Wy’East Student Government, and we’re working hard to create a fun, inclusive, and impactful night.
