Wy’East at the 2026 Olympics
As the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics kick off this weekend in Italy, we are so proud to cheer on Wy’East Mountain Academy alumni Nick Goepper and Konnor Ralph who are competing in ski halfpipe and ski big air and slopestyle, respectively. We are also rooting for Jason Arens, Wy’East Mountain Academy board member and Olympic Freeski Head Judge.
our ALUMNI AT THE OLYMPICS
Two Wy’East Mountain Academy alumni, Nick Goepper and Konnor Ralph, will compete in the 2026 Olympics. Nick Goepper, a 2012 Wy’East graduate, will compete in men’s ski halfpipe. After winning three Olympic medals in slopestyle, Nick retired from competitive skiing in January 2023. However, Nick couldn’t stay out of retirement and returned 10 months later to switch his focus to halfpipe. He is currently ranked third in the world in men’s halfpipe, with two podium finishes in three events this season.
Konnor Ralph, a 2021 Wy’East graduate, will make his Olympic debut this February. Ralph won his first World Cup slopestyle podium in Tignes, France, in 2024, followed by a big air podium finish in Aspen in 2025, solidifying his status as one of the sport’s emerging talents.
